Yango Tech , the unified ecosystem delivering advanced B2B technology solutions to local businesses, has recently partnered with ROOTS, a food tech and retail company, to provide a tailored suite of retail tech solutions designed to optimise every stage of the order lifecycle and transform the grocery shopping experience. As part of its ecosystem approach, Yango Tech offers a broad range of technologies to its partners, from strategic consulting to the latest AI-driven solutions. ROOTS is already benefiting from this collaboration, having introduced Yango Tech’s autonomous delivery robots, and now continues its digital transformation journey with advanced retail technology.“We are committed to empowering ambitious businesses with innovative retail solutions that help them grow, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional service,” stated Max Avtukhov, Chief Executive of Yango Tech Retail. “ROOTS is an exciting addition to our partner network. With the UAE’s online grocery market projected to grow to USD 15.4 billion by 2032, providing reliable, scalable technology has never been more important.”ROOTS will implement several advanced technologies from Yango Tech Retail to enhance its retail operations. These include the Warehouse Management System (WMS), a web application that enables efficient shelf-picking in physical stores to streamline in-store order processing; the Picker Application, an Android app designed for staff responsible for assembling customer orders; and the Courier Application, which helps couriers manage assigned orders and payouts while supporting routing, batching, and delivery optimisation. In addition, Yango Tech’s Product Information Management (PIM) platform centralises all product data in a single, reliable source. It simplifies product onboarding through its AI-powered “Image-To-Card” feature, which automatically generates product details from a photograph. The e-grocery provider can build a catalogue supporting offers, bundles, dynamic pricing, and intuitive product categorisation with tags to deliver a seamless shopping experience. This accelerates time to market and ensures consistent, accurate product descriptions across all platforms—enhancing customer satisfaction.“We put the customer experience at the centre of everything we do—from the way we source our products to how we deliver them. Yango Tech helps us automate and streamline where it matters, so our team can focus on what makes ROOTS special. This is not just about tech; it’s about trust, speed, and scale,” said Florian Jansen, Founder of ROOTS. “We look forward to working together to continue setting new standards in food retail.”Yango Tech is also providing ROOTS with its User App, available on both iOS and Android operating systems. This intuitive mobile application enables customers to place orders conveniently from anywhere, ensuring easy access to ROOTS’ full product catalogue and services. The partnership represents a strategic move for ROOTS in scaling its operations and meeting evolving consumer expectations. With 72% of customers opting for e-grocery due to convenience, and average order fulfilment times expected to decrease from four hours to just 30 minutes by 2028, access to robust retail technology is more crucial than ever.
